The STECF expert working group "EWG 1419 - Mediterranean assessment part 2", has convened in Rome during 19-23 January 2015 and addressed a series of issues as requested by DG MARE in the correspomnding terms of references. The detailed output of this working group efforts is included in the following report. The report was reviewed by the STECF spring plenary during 13-17 April 2015.

The Expert Working Group meeting of the Scientific, Technical and Economic Committee for Fisheries EWG-15-02 on Evaluation of management plans. Evaluation of the multi-annual plan for the North Sea demersal stocks was held from 16-20 March 2015 in Ispra, Italy. The report was reviewed and endorsed by the STECF during its plenary meeting held from 13 to 17 April 2015 in Brussels (Belgium).
The Scientific, Technical and Economic Committee for Fisheries hold its 48th plenary on 13-17 April in Brussels (Belgium). The terms of reference included both issues assessments of STECF Expert Working Group reports and additional requests submitted to the STECF by the Commission. Topics dealt with were inter alia assessments of Mediterranean stocks, technical measures, and multii-annual management plans.
