|Abstract:||A series of synthetic mixtures of thorium isotopes was prepared on gravimetrical basis. The starting compounds consisted of natural thorium 232-Th (99.99%) and highly enriched 230-Th (99.8%). These materials were chemically purified and characterized for isotopic composition and chenical purity. ThO2 was demonstrated to be a suitable compound for gravimetrical blending. The isotope amount ratios in the mixtures range from 10(ex-2) to 3x10(ex-6). these synthetic isotope mixtures are the first ever prepared for thorium. they may serve for the calibration of measurements of thorium isotope amount ratios.|
