|Abstract:||The objects of the thesis was the development and implementation of World-Wide Web interfaces to the radiological emergency and information systems at the JRC/EI of the European Commission. This thesis shows the potential of client Web applications based on multi-tier architecture for the purpose of data visualisation and database interconnection. The ECURIE WWW integration visualises messages and measurements distributed among the states of Europe in the case of a radiological accident. The second part of the thesis was the analysis, evaluation and development of the EURDEP Worl-Wide Web application, an application that visualises inter-comparable radiological information collected periodically by the states of Europe.|
