Title: Specific Heat in AnTX Compounds (An=Np, Pu)

Abstract: We present results of specific-heat measurements on several AnTX An 1/4 Np; Pu; T 1/4 Co; Ni;Rh; Ir; X 1/4 Al; GaÞ compounds with the hexagonal ZrNiAl-type structure. All the studied neptunium materials order antiferromagnetically with highest TN 1/4 42K in NpIrAl. On contrary, the Pu-basedisostructural materials do not show any phase transitions down to lowest achievable temperatures. The g coefficient of the electronic specific heat is moderately enhanced (g 1002200mJK2 mo1).
