|Abstract:||After one week, the mortality of European eel Anguilla anguilla after marking glass eels with oxytetracycline (OTC), alizarin red (ALC) and farm eels with coded wire tags (CWTs) was 0% within all treatments. The suitability of implanting CWTs in the nose region (tag loss 94% after one week) and in the dorsal musculature (tag loss 4% after one week) was also examined.|
