Abstract: This paper presents the preliminary qualitative analysis of a misuse scenario of the baseline system design of the Example Sodium Fast Reactor (ESFR). Rather than presenting a complete evaluation of all the possible misuse scenarios the paper will concentrate on methodological aspects and will illustrate how a qualitative analysis following the GIF PR&PP approach can generate traceable results. These could provide a useful feedback for both System and Safeguards designers.
