Abstract: High resolution cross section measurements have been performed at the neutron time-of-flight facility GELINA to determine resonance parameters for 197Au+n. The importance of combining independent experimental observables to determine a complete set of parameters, i.e. resonance energy spin, parity, and partial widths, is emphasized. Resonance parameters have been deduced for 197Au+n in the energy region below 200 eV, from a resoance analysis of transmission, capture and self-indication measurements.
