Abstract: EQUILIBRIA IN THE U(VI)-H2O-CO2(G) SYSTEM HAVE BEEN STUDIED IN 0.5 M NACL4 AT 25 DEGREES C. BY USING THERMAL LENSING SPECTRO- PHOTOMETRY AND A VERY LOW TOTAL CONCENTRATION OF U(VI) WE COULD OBTAIN INFORMATION ON EQUILIBRIA INVOLVING UO2(CO3)2 WITHOUT THE COMPLICATION DUE TO THE FORMATION OF THE TRIMER.
