	abstract = {The analysis carried out in the present AA LULUCF 2030 (i) supports DG CLIMA on the implementation the EU LULUCF Decision 529/2013 (especially with regard to carbon stock changes in CM and GM) and (i) contributes to specific elements of the Impact Assessment associated to a legislative proposal on the inclusion of the land use sector in the 2030 EU climate and energy policy. This publication is a Science for Policy report by the Joint Research Centre, the European Commission’s in-house science service. It aims to provide evidence-based scientific support to the European policy-making process. The scientific output expressed does not imply a policy position of the European Commission.
