Given the plan-wise irregular configuration of the mock-up, the results from the PsD tests are very relevant in relation to the open issues of research in the field of torsionally unbalanced buildings. The wealth of data gathered through the rounds of PsD tests, in a field where so little information had been collected before, called for the best possible interpretation and post-test treatment. For this reason, it was decided to apply to the most significant collected data series the Karhunen-Loeve (K-L) (or principal component) analysis method, to interpret from a modal perspective the outcomes of the PsD tests. The presentation and discussion of the results of the experimental activity, with a focus on the outcomes of the K-L numerical analyses of selected data series regarding the structure in the as built configuration will thus be the object of this paper. }, title = {Application of the Kahunen-Loeve Method to the Analysis of the Results of a PsD Test on a Torsionally Unbalanced Three-Storey R/C Building}, url = {}, volume = {}, number = {}, journal = {}, pages = {}, issn = {}, publisher = {A.J.
