This scientific event has been organised in frame of exploratory research project called HIPOS (High Intensity Positron Beam). 
		
		The workshop was dedicated to scientific presentations regarding the current status of positron techniques (positron beams, positron microscopy, digital lifetime systems) and future needs of JRC. The review of first pre-design for positrons generator at High Flux Reactor (HFR) Petten was done in view of the future research needs.
