The experimental part is based on tensile tests from 150 specimens taken from 3 different inserts for nuclear waste. The probabilistic model shows that low ductility is mainly attributed to slag defects but also to high ductility. The model is used to compute distributions of elongation at fracture and defect distributions used in a probabilistic analysis of a complete nuclear waste canister. There is generally an excellent agreement between measured and computed quantities. }, title = {An Experimental and Numerical Analysis to Correlate Variation in Ductility to Defects and Microstructure in Ductile Cast Iron Components}, type = {}, url = {}, volume = {73}, number = {}, journal = {ENGINEERING FRACTURE MECHANICS}, pages = {1133-1157}, issn = {}, publisher = {Elsevier}, doi = {} }
