	abstract = {The aim of this paper is to show how the decoupling of the remained coupled premiums after the 2003 CAP reform affects the most important farm types in Europe with respect to income, production and prices. The first part of the paper briefly introduces the model and the methodology for deriving an EU-wide and consistent farm type classification. The remaining of the paper presents the farm type layer module exposed to the 2003 CAP reform provisions. The 2003 CAP reform also served as the baseline for the analysis of full decoupling. The results show that compared to the baseline full decoupling will have only a moderate impact on agriculture at the EU-25 level. However, the disaggregated analysis of the model output allows revealing the uneven effects among the farm types. The largest impact appears for the farms dealing with beef-meat production. The interaction of the supply module (farm type layer) with the recursive-dynamic, equilibrium market model has proven an important element in the model for realistic policy simulations.
