However, different viewpoints still exists on how to estimate a potential bias, whether to correct for a potential bias and how to accomodate the bias and its uncertainty in the uncertainty budget for a particular measurement. Base don the scientified literature as well as guidance documents from international bodies (ISO, IUPAC, Eurachem, ICH, APLAC etc.) this review concludes that results should generally be corrected from know bias/incomplete recovery. The uncertainty of the bias forms an intrinsic part of the measurement uncertainty, even when no significant bias was observed. }, title = {Use of Recovery and Bias Information in Analytical Chemistry and Estimation of its Uncertainty Contribution}, type = {}, url = {}, volume = {27}, number = {10}, journal = {TRAC-TRENDS IN ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY}, pages = {916-923}, issn = {0165-9936}, publisher = {ELSEVIER SCIENCE LONDON}, doi = {10.1016/j.trac.2008.08.013} }
