Using DCAT-AP for research data
This paper outlines a set cross-domain requirements for the documentation of scientific data, identified during the development of the corporate data catalogue of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC).
In particular, we illustrate how we have extended the DCAT application profile for European data portals (DCAT-AP) to accomodate requirements for scientific datasets, and we discuss a number of issues still to be addressed.
