Competitiveness of distributed generation of heat, power and cooling: System design and policy overview
This book chapter discusses the competitiveness of distributed trigeneration, namely, the combined generation of heat, power, and cooling. An overview of the topic is presented by introducing the main technologies and sectors of application. Furthermore, a methodology to evaluate the competitiveness of the different solutions is presented.
