Abstract: Bifacial PV modules can increase the performance of traditional PV modules because both side of the cells, front and rear, absorb solar radiation. To assess their performance and quality, PV modules are characterized using international standards. However, currently no specific standards exist for bifacial PV modules and research need to be done in order to study the indoor performance testing conditions. In this work, the effects of the size and the distances of a reflective rear cover placed behind a c-Si bifacial module were studied.
