This paper uses an EU-wide Individual Farm Model for Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) Analysis (IFMCAP) to assess the economic impacts of CAP greening. Based on Positive Mathematical Programming, IFMCAP simulates the behaviour of each individual farmer in the FADN data under policy and market changes. Results show that although the proportion of concerned farms is sizable, the relocated area due to the adoption of CAP greening represents only 4.5 % of Utilized Agricultural Area (UAA), agricultural income decreases by 1 % and total farm production declines by 0.9 % at EU-27. In total around 29 % of the farm population is affected by CAP greening.
