El inventario de movimientos de ladera de España ALISSA: Metodología y análisis preliminar

A landslide inventory of Spain called ALISSA has been compiled in the framework of European-wide landslide susceptibility mapping, within the EU Thematic Strategy for Soil Protection. The inventory has been created mainly by collecting and analysing a large amount of documents of various types and in several languages, and geo-referencing so far more than 8200 centroids of landslides on natural slopes, which are precisely located and fairly distributed spatially across the areas more prone to slope instability. In addition to the location, each record of the database includes a set of landslide properties, which makes the inventory very useful for landslide zoning at certain scales as well as for other investigations.
