Debris analysis in post-conflict Syria:
The case of Aleppo
This reports presents the methodology developed by the JRC to estimate the volume of debris in urban areas, building from previous post-conflict assessments carried out in Syria. Considering debris management in the broader context of post-conflict reconstruction, Aleppo is used as a relevant case study and the results of debris volume estimation in the city is discussed with reference to conflict dynamics.
