Editorial: Forum on Benford's law and statistical methods for the detection of frauds
This is the editorial of a special issue dedicated to the foundations and methods of Benford's Law and robust statistics, in the area of fraud detection. The forum is the concluding act of the first international conference dedicated to this topic, organised by the JRC, OLAF and the Universities of Parma and Siena in Stresa, Italy, on 10-12 July 2019. The forum includes 5 papers, which have been peer reviewed under the independent supervision of two members of the scientific board of the Journal.
