Linking healthcare and societal resilience during the Covid-19 pandemic
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) highlighted the bond between public healthcare and the broader context of operational response to complex emergency scenarios. Data on risk perceptions are needed to better support the intervention of emergency services, prioritize the allocation of resources, enhance systemic recovery, improve communication, and increase societal resilience to cascading risks in the longer term.
