X-Ray Scattering Study of the Two Magnetic Correlation Lengths in Uranium Antimonide
X-ray magnetic scattering measurements of the critical fluctuations in cubic uranium antimonide are reported. As in some other recent critical scattering studies, we have observed the presence of second, long-range length scale in the critical fluctuations close to the continuous phase transition to the ordered magfnetic phase. the cubic structure of the USb system has allowed us to make measurements of the anisotropy and critical exponents of this feature which may aid in the understanding of the two length-scale problem.
