The GATEWAY TO THE FUTURE OF THE MEDITERRANEAN is designed as an interactive portal to the so-called Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystem Nexus which will permit different audiences to discover distinct facets of this vital concept. The citizen, the student and the interested bystander is drawn to the most important issues of the WEFE Nexus in a clear, but imaginative way, whilst the experienced specialist will be capable of accessing more technically-detailed content due to the unique use of multimedia, augmented reality and state-of-the-art scientific links.
