CDP Collaborative Doctoral Partnerships
Information brochure on CDP
The purpose of this brochure is to inform Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and potential PhD students about the CDP programme. It will be disseminated to potential partners and actors who might be interested in collaborating or applying for PhD positions that will be open in the frame of CDP.
It is expected that dissemination of information about the CDP programme in HEIs throughout Europe will result in a wider recognition of the JRC as a potential collaboration partner within Academia in Europe. Increase in the number of applications from HEIs in future calls and increase in applications from students in calls for CDP PhD positions.
The target audience of this publication is twofold: on one side, members of Academia/HEIs in European Universities, such as Faculty members and University administrators, who might be interested in applying for future calls for expression of interest in the CDP programme; on the other hand, recent graduates with a Master’s Degree, potentially interested in pursuing a doctoral degree (PhD), and who will be interested to learn about the added value of a joint PhD programme with the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, combining research excellence with the impact of policy making.
