The collection contains outputs of Global Climate Model (GCM) simulations performed at the JRC. The GCM is the Community Earth System Model (CESM), a fully-coupled, global climate model that simulates dynamical processes in the atmosphere, ocean, vegetation, soil and sea ice. The atmospheric model explicitly simulates dynamical and chemical processes involving air pollutants including atmospheric aerosols and their impacts on radiation and atmospheric dynamics. The datasets in this collection contain CESM model outputs of simulations of the present, and future climate change forced by changing emissions of long and short lived climate forcers in different realistic climate scenarios.
