Quality Assurance Scheme for Breast Cancer Services
This manual intends to facilitate the process for piloting of the certification body audit process of breast cancer services for the European quality assurance scheme and to provide guidance to certification bodies on:
• the requirements for BCSs and where the full details are documented
• the audit processes that must be used for BCSs
• how to report the results of the audits
• who to report the audit to
After the certification pilot has been completed, the European quality assurance scheme will be updated.
