Jobs and growth in the bioeconomy
JRC-Bioeconomics dataset, version of January 2022
The JRC-Bioeconomics dataset has been elaborated by JRC for the monitoring of socio-economics aspects of the European Bioeconomy. Since its release in 2017, it has been mobilised by a diversity of stakeholders and quoted in the current Bioeconomy Strategy of the European Union. Keeping the data as much up-to-date as possible is therefore of crucial importance. The present documents wraps-up the methodology implemented for generating these number as well as the minor changes that have been applied for the January 2022 version compared to the previous one. It then gives an overview of the questions these data answer to through a series of pre-prepared figures that are also available online in a dynamic format.
