Joint Research Centre - Proof of Concept Report
This study assessed the non-academic impact of projects funded under the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) Proof of Concept (PoC) Programme, in the context of the overall PoC funding landscape in Europe, and with a broad definition of impact based upon the
UK’s Research Excellence Framework exercise. Independent consultants reviewed the project applications, submitted reports and associated outputs, as well as directly speaking with investigators, project managers and/or representatives from the relevant JRC Unit.
