This ad hoc report first reviews the technical details of the Generalised Linear Mixed effects Model (GLMM) approach that is applied to estimate model-based indicators for the performance of the Common Fisheries Policy. It then presents the results a suitability study of applying the Bayesian State-Space model ‘JARA’ as an alternative to the current GLMM approach.
