Beyond GDP: Measuring 'what makes life worthwhile'
During the past 50 years of Beyond GDP debate, many indicator sets measuring social, environmental and economic progress have been devised and implemented, but they have often been fragmented and part of individual initiatives in their respective policy areas. While there are dozens of Beyond GDP measures, here we look into 11 of the most up to date examples of composite indicators and explore the interlinkages between them, which can offer us insights about the sustainability and wellbeing at national level.
