Fair conditions for winter crops
Conditions for winter crops have generally been favourable. Initial delays in crop development were recovered while the risk of impacts from dry weather, which was ongoing in late winter and early spring, substantially diminished thanks to abundant rainfall since 15 March. Cropping systems in South-eastern production regions suffered damage from the earthquake and floods but crops have recovered quickly.
