Indicators for measuring health outcomes in the context of the European Social Fund funded interventions
Article 4 of the ESF+ regulation describe the specific objectives that are to be supported by the fund. Some of them relate specifically to policies in the field of health, including access to effective and equitable healthcare and care services, healthy ageing and a healthy and well-adapted working environment. Not only that, there are many other factors affecting the health of the population that are also included as ESF+ objectives. Indeed, health is not merely determined by access to healthcare but also by a set of social determinants including living conditions, education, or employment status, all of which are included in the ESF+ objectives
This document aims to provide a list of health outcomes that can be utilized to measure the effectiveness of interventions aiming to achieve these objectives.
