Digital Decade EU funding

The Digital Compass Communication (COM 118 final 2021) and the recently adopted Digital Decade Policy Programme 2030 (Decision (EU) 2022/2481) aim at accelerating the digital transformation of Europe by accelerating progress in key digital areas. Among the several objectives are to achieve open strategic autonomy, to promote a human-centred inclusive digital environment, to develop interoperable sustainable and efficient digital infrastructures, to increase trust and accessibility to online public services, and to empower European people and businesses. A crucial aspect of this effort is the allocation of investments to support the digital transformation through different EU funding instruments, such as the Recovery and Resilience Facility. This collection provides information on several EU level funding instruments, spanning from 2014 to 2027. It offers detailed data output on the estimated total Digital Decade (DD)-relevant budget allocated by funding instrument and DD target (in € m) as well as allocation to each Member State whenever available. Additionally, this collection is accompanied by a series of three reports designed to support the monitoring and implementation of the Digital Decade Policy Programme.
