Manglares de las Américas [American Mangroves]
This editorial presents the invited issue of the journal Ecosistemas on "American Mangroves". The article includes the relevance of this issue, in general, and in particular for the Spanish-speakers scientific and techical community working with mangroves in America due to the scarce literature in Spanish about the topic, and the relevance of this ecosystems for conservation, climate and other environmental and socio-economic goals. It also includes a short description of all the articles included in this issue.
