The key regulatory framework addressing these concerns is the Regulation on Wholesale Energy Market Integrity and Transparency (REMIT). This regulation plays a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of wholesale energy markets. This policy brief is addressing DG ENER and ACER giving an overview on key JRC activities and outcomes in the context of REMIT (Reg.1227/2011).
