Data collection for the Raw Materials Information System (RMIS)
Raw Materials’ Profiles Section
Datasets for various indicators are compiled for the Raw Materials Information System (RMIS), a data platform of the European Commission (JRC) dedicated to raw materials. The data collection and assessment process aims to ensure the quality and reliability of data used in RMIS and facilitate their analysis and interpretation. A single database of processed data is developed that can be quickly revised and regularly updated in light of new information. The database can streamline data management procedures by reducing the need to manage multiple separate datasets, leading to greater efficiency in handling and utilising data across RMIS and beyond.
