Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) Experimental Assessment
Overview and performance assessment of QTI Quell-X system at JRC
This document assesses the performance of the commercial Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) system Quell-X, manufactured by Quantum Telecommunications Italy (QTI), installed at the Joint Research Centre (JRC) in February 2024. The system was tested in lab and on the fibres of the JRC site. Measurement results are reported for different cases of fibre link length or loss and general experimental conditions are discussed.
