Drought resilience demands urgent actions and unprecedented cooperation
Drought risks are escalating globally, yet efforts to address them remain largely insufficient. As the global drought community and the policy representatives gather at the UNCCD COP16 in Riyadh in December, we point to the urgent need for a paradigm shift in assessing and quantifying drought risks, for developing and implementi ng transformative solutions, and for boosting policy actions and investments supported by unprecedented global cooperation, to facilitate pathways towards drought resilience futures
