Generalization of the perfect gas model for Cell-Centred Finite Volumes and correction of the treatment of hanging nodes in EUROPLEXUS
This report presents a generalization of the perfect gas model for Cell-Centred Finite Volumes in EUROPLEXUS.
The possibility is added to specify a temperature-dependent specific heat ratio instead of assuming a constant one. This may have a certain influence on simulations where the fluid state ranges over a wide spectrum of pressures, such as in strong blast simulations.
Another unrelated development concerns the correction of coupled hanging node constraints in adaptivity.
