Geospatial data on forest land use and land rights can support the implementation of the EU Deforestation Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2023/1115). This report quantifies the spatial agreement between the Global Forest Cover map for the year 2020 and national maps on forest and other land uses for Thailand at national and regional level. Spatially explicit information on land rights shed light on the legality of commodities and products. The report proposes a workflow for an integrated geospatial risk assessment approach comprising deforestation and legality.
