How AI is shaping EU electricity grids: the impact of AI Act
This report gives a first overview of the implementation of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Act by the European Distribution System Operators (DSOs). Given the increase in the uptake of AI tools by the energy sector and the fact that energy is the field that can offer a variety of use cases, where AI tools can be applied, it is fundamental to study the effect of the recently published AI Act. This report collects actual data from European DSOs aiming at depicting the situation with respect to the AI Act Implementation and at identifying gaps in the field.
