2024 Activities related to the smart grid interoperabilty laboratories
The 2024 activities of the Smart Grid Interoperability Laboratories (SGIL) focused on advancing smart grid technologies and supporting European energy policies. The laboratories, located in Ispra, Italy, and Petten, The Netherlands, play a crucial role in interoperability testing and policy support for energy transition. Key projects included the Clean Energy Technology Observatory (CETO) and the Code of Conduct (CoC) for Energy Smart Appliances (ESA). The SGIL contributed to Horizon 2020 research projects, fostering collaboration with international research communities.
