Scientific, Technical and Economic Committee for Fisheries (STECF) – Evaluation of the Annual Reports for data collection and data Transmission issues for 2024 (STECF-25-08)
Commission Decision of 25 February 2016 setting up a Scientific, Technical and Economic Committee for Fisheries, C(2016) 1084, OJ C 74, 26.2.2016, p. 4–10. The Commission may consult the group on any matter relating to marine and fisheries biology, fishing gear technology, fisheries economics, fisheries governance, ecosystem effects of fisheries, aquaculture or similar disciplines. This report presents the STECF findings based on the Report of the Expert Working Group (EWG 25-08) which was held in in presence 23-27 June 2025, to evaluate MS Annual Reports on data collection for 2024 and the Member States’ data transmission to the end users during 2024. The report of the EWG was reviewed by the STECF during its 77th plenary meeting held in Brussels from 7-11 July 2025.
