Evidence for priority waste streams and for national circularity measures under the Critical Raw Materials Act
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) factsheet “From waste streams to Critical Raw Material sources” (2026) summarises the key messages of the science‑for‑policy report that supports the implementation of Article 26 of the EU Critical Raw Materials Act. The report identifies products, components and waste streams with relevant recovery potential for strategic and critical raw materials.The resulting priority list serves as a practical guide for translating Article 26 into concrete national actions, complementing existing EU legislation and advancing a more circular raw‑material value chain.
