This brief provides an overview of relevant European R&I projects exploring the social aspects of transport. It covers the following social dimensions: transport poverty, technology acceptance, jobs and skills, health, safety, travel experience, and human-machine interaction. 146 projects were anslyzed in total, including 104 Horizon 2020 projects and 42 Horizon Europe projects, of total EU funding amounting to 443,6 mln euro. The brief and full report address research and innovation across the identified thematic areas and outlines future research needs and challenges.
