|Abstract:||The structural integrity of a monolithic beam-column joint manufactured from glass-fibre pre-pregs was assessed under shear and bending. It was found that the higher content of shear reinforcement in the quasi-isotropic specimen the higher the stiffness of the joint. The main structural failure mechanism was associated with inter-laminar fissures developing internally at the radial beam-to-column transition.|
