Das Alpenbeobachtungs- und -informationssystem ( Le Systeme d'Observation et d'Information des Alpes).

The article briefly presents two information services of the System for the Observation of and Information on the Alps (SOIA) of the Alpine Convention:the System of Information on Research regarding the Alps (SIRA) and the Alpine Catalogue of Data Sources (ACDS). The organisation of the SOIA, the purpose of the services, the information provided, the target user groups and the state of implementation are indicated.
