Sorption kinetics of Mn,Fe,Co,Zn,Ag,Cd and Cs were studied in an organic rich river water using spiked suspended matter. Quasi in-vitro experiments were performed over 120h during a low and high productivity period. The partitioning between the dissolved and the particulate phase was determined by the usual distribution coefficient, and the speciation in the filterable phase was studied from the selective extraction of the dissolved complexing species using a series of macropourous resins.
