ECVAM's Scientific Information Service
One of the duties of the European Centre for Validation of Alternative Methods (ECVAM) laid down by the EC is to set up, maintainand manage a database on alternative procedures and validation. To achieve this objective in the best way, ECVAM established its Scientific Information Service (SIS) in 1996.
